Senior Results 2012

Our senior primary competitions took place just before the Easter Break

2011/2012 Season

Registration forms for 2011/2012 have been emailed to schools. Can you return them by Oct 26th please. Our calendar will be similar to other years with the U11 competitions in Nov/Dec, U12 in Feb and Senior before Easter.

Have a look at the video below. It shows a product that the IOHA has on offer. It's called the iGoal and is an inflatable goal made of very durable plastic with in-built nets. The version we demonstrate costs €205 and the mini version for primary schools in Galway costs €135 per goal.


Use our links page to get IOHA contact details. They also have a supply of the handballs we will be using this year and in future competitions. They are the "Select Light Grippy" ball size mini for U11 and size 1 for other competitions. The major advantage of this ball is that it cannot be over inflated so we have a standard size.

All Ireland Champions!

Congratulations to Ann Hyland and the Oranmore Boys Olympic Handball team who won the All Ireland Boys Schools championship in Sligo on 5th May. Many thanks to Robert Hamm for hosting and organising the event

Division 1 Finals 2011

Well done to all who took part in the Div 1 finals in Claregalway on 14 April.
The boys champions are Oranmore with Corrandulla finishing runners-up.
The Girls champions are Moycullen with Corrandulla finishing runners up.
We wish both Oranmore and Moycullen all the best for the All-Ireland finals after Easter.

Senior Div 2 2011

Congratulations to The Claddagh who won both the boys and the girls Div 2 titles this year.


Ballinderreen were beaten finalists in girls, Bawnmore were runners up in the boys


Well done to all the schools who took part.

Senior Shield Competition 2011

A great day was had by all  in Claregalway. All teams were very even and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Cregmore won the girls shield comp with Annaghdown runners up. 

BOYS 2011
Doorus were the winners with Cregmore runners up. 

Congrats to all who took part. It seems the shield will be added to our annual calendar!!!
